7 Things to Check Before You Book a Villa
The first thing to check when renting a villa is whether the listed capacity actually covers your group — the number of beds and the guest capacity aren't always the same thing. Second, look closely at the pool size and whether it's overlooked; photos can make a pool look bigger than it is. Confirm the deposit amount and how long it takes to be refunded before you book. Read the cancellation terms, especially how much is withheld the closer you cancel to arrival. Ask about check-in and check-out times, and whether early arrival is possible. Find out whether the villa is reached by car or transfer. Finally, before signing anything, check that every feature listed in the advert also appears in the agreement.
